October: The Art of Visual Storytelling with JC Little
Daily we are inundated by pictures, images, infographics whether it is on Facebook or Instagram but what makes some stand out while others fall flat?
Come hear JC Little of The Animated Woman talk about the kernels of inspiration that lead to illustrating stories with pictures, the inner workings of visual thinking and the emotional marriage of words, images and animation in storytelling.
The session will be packed with drawings and animation from The Animated Woman, illustrating how to hit emotional beats with an image, and decide what to pursue in a story. JC will share different tools and software she uses to create digital art, and explore ways of creating images to add a personal touch.
