Entrepreneur and mother of three, Tereska co-founded Urban Seedling five years ago in Montreal along with her husband. Together they have grown a flourishing family farming initiative in the city.
Urban Seedling helps Montrealers grow food in the city by planting vegetable gardens and curating ‘edible landscapes’ in yards, schools and workplaces. They also run a Garden Centre near Verdun, dedicated to the cultivation of organic vegetable and edible landscaping.
In addition to offering a content rich website, a weekly how-to newsletter and a vegetable gardening call-in show on CBC Radio Noon, Tereska gives vegetable gardening workshops to Horticultural Societies, in schools and for corporate Lunch-and-Learns. She also offers a workshop series in the South West borough.
When: Thursday, October 29th, doors at 6:30pm
